Regal is a look,
not a label.
A short history of a stone, and the idea we built a jewellery label on.

The gem that fooled kings.
The Black Prince's Ruby, set at the front of the British Imperial State Crown, is not a ruby. It is a spinel, a red stone so convincing that royal treasuries counted it among their finest rubies for centuries.
The same is true of the Timur Ruby, carried through the Mughal court and inscribed with the names of the emperors who owned it. Mineralogists only learned to tell the two stones apart in the eighteenth century. By then, the stone had already done its work: it looked the part.

Regal is a look, not a label.
Pink Spinel Jewellery is designer imitation jewellery, and we say so plainly. Our pieces are gold-tone, kundan-style, polki-inspired, set with American diamond (CZ), meenakari enamel and faux pearl. We do not use or claim real gold, silver or gemstones.
What we do care about is proportion, colour and finish: the things that make a piece look right in the room, at the wedding, across the table.

Chosen by eye, checked by hand.
Each style is selected for how it sits, how it catches the light and how it pairs with the clothes you already own. Heritage detail where it earns its place, clean lines where it does not.
Every piece is checked by hand before it leaves us: settings, clasps, enamel and edges. If it would not pass for us, it does not ship.
Kings prized it for how it looked.

Made to be worn, and looked after.
Imitation jewellery lasts longest when it is kept dry and kept apart. Store each piece in its pouch, put it on after perfume, take it off before water.
If something arrives that is not right, write to us on WhatsApp or at support@pinkspineljewellery.com and we will make it right.
